This wasn't your average survey. As well as rating your priority issues, we asked for your thoughts on everything from the financial crisis to the future of democracy and how we can better engage in politics. Tens of thousands responded with thoughtful answers, offers of help and interesting campaign suggestions.

Right now our staff are down in Canberra working at getting your opinions heard, and ensuring they have real political impact.

Your responses deserve nothing less than a careful reading, and we will continue to analyse your longer comments.
