Speaking Personally as Reinona of Reinona.org, I say Yes it is
true, even pricks need to wear condoms and not just because of HIV!

There is this thing called sexual ecology and there are some who
theorise that the reason why HIV effected so many in the Gay
"Community"
was because everyone was running around having sex with everyone which
created the ecology that HIV loved to reproduce in. It is not just HIV
that is helped along by sexual promiscuity. AND if you are HIV+ then
the other bugs out there are easier to get and harder to get rid of.
For example Syphilis and Hep C etc etc! AND yes, you can catch Hep C
through sexual intercourse!
It might not be politically correct to say this truth but if you
fuck around bareback with strangers then your chances
of catching any kind of bug increases. If you are a "right royal slut"
and you don´t use a condom then you are asking for trouble...
add drugs to this mix then aren´t you just inviting bigots out there
who hate gays, to ask, weren´t you just asking for it?
Health Care is a huge cost to the taxpayer! Organisations complain
about people abusing the system and making it harder for
genuine people who need help! I don´t agree with that attitude as I
think organisations don´t get ripped of if they have commen sense
systems in place to prevent abuses of power and services. I do think
that the more people get the clap then the more likely it is that
the many pen pushers in the health departments will start calling for
people to start paying for their own treatments.
As someone who does not slut around every chance I get, I do not want
to start paying for treatment because other people are too lazy to roll
on a rubber, too busy acting upon urges of sexual addiction and/or too
selfish to
care about (a) the effect they might have on the health of their
"partner", even if the intention is to just have 5 minutes of socially
irresponsible fun in a backroom, and (b) the cost of health care paid
by working taxpayers!
I also know there are Gay men out there who choose to spend their
lives not working, their fortnights collecting money from Centrelink,
and their days running around having bareback sex with strangers.
I respect that people have the right to choose how they live... but
personally I think that people who do knowingly expose other people to
infections such as HIV are selfish pricks... and (those) people should be made
to contribute towards the cost of "regular treatments
for lifestyle related infections"!
But as President of Fagmedia, I say every one needs to act
responsibility to reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted
infections and so we say: "Even Pricks need to wear a condom!
